Locklan's First Birthday Party!

Locklan has a great desire to be just like his big brother... and I'm not so sure that's a good thing. I have a feeling Beckett is going to influence his little brother... and probably not in all the best ways! As I said before... we're in for it!

Just More of The Boys!

Everything here is going well.  Locklan is doing fantastically!  In fact, he took his first steps on Labor Day, September 1st.  It was very exciting!  Now, I will truly have my work cut out for me... TWO on the move!  Oh No!  Sean is still trying to pass this darn test at Best Buy to get his promotion and the Geekmobile which would make our life SO much easier!  Beckett is speaking like a little adult... full paragraphs and grammatically correct.  He's amazing!  I'm just being a Mom, but I really shouldn't say JUST... it's super crazy tough, but FUN!  Hoping all of you are well.  Will post a video or two soon!  Big Love ~ The Kershaw Krew

Balboa Park ~ Beckett played baseball and soccer with Uncle Ryan on his last day in town. Locklan enjoyed watching his big brother and uncle. It was truly a perfect day!

Uncle Ryan came from Montana to visit his nephews.  We went to the zoo, Sea World, Seaport Village, Balboa Park and much more!  It was an absolute blast!

This is a video I took in the hospital room just eight hours after Locklan's brain surgery!  He's a nut!  He wanted out of that crib to play!  Little did he know that he just had a hole cut into his head!

This too is an older video.  Locklan was only sitting, but now he motors all around the room... still doing more of a combat crawl, but man is he ever fast!  He has gone up on all fours a few times doing more of a traditional crawl, but when he wants to get to something quickly he reverts back to a combat-style crawl.  They do seem to enjoy playing with one another most of the time.  Locklan is always fascinated by whatever Beckett is doing and Beckett is equally annoyed at times with Locklan's interest!  Typical brothers.

Locklan Crawling!

Locklan is beginning to crawl! So, here we go! I'm going to be truly twice as busy now! Beckettt and Sean are in Allen, Texas visiting Sean's parents, "Nonny" and "Papa". They went for the weekend for Larry's birthday. It is weird to be here with just Locklan, but... wow, ONE baby is SO much easier than two!
